How I'd paint Koda

- Red circles over eyes and nose: These are to enhance the senses. 

- Blue bars on face:  These have no meaning to me, i just thought they looked cool.  The native americans used bars to show the number of war parties the horse and rider had been in together. 

- Hoof prints:  To native Americans these represent the number of horses stolen on camp raids.  To me they represent the main horses that I work with (Mocha, Shilo, and Bullet.  Not counting Koda, cuz they're on koda and i thought that was kind of weird.  Why count the horse you're counting on?) xD

- Red Cross:  This may or may not be added.  To native Americans it means the horse and rider successfully escaped an ambush. To me it would mean we escaped this shit hole. 

- Black Hand print: I'm so confused with what the hand print markings mean.  Every site i find information on is contradictory.  In the end I added it cuz it looked cool. Some of the meanings I've found were: the death of an enemy; the horse brought his master back unharmed from a dangerous mission; an upside down hand print would mean a 'do or die' mission was underway. 

- Green thing on Flank: This is a good luck hunting symbol. 

- Red zig-zag arrow on back leg: Means trouble for the enemy, thus adding strength to the warrior. 

- Lightning Bolts on Front legs: To appease the indian's god of war (Thor, trolol), and other zig-zag markings also add speed to the horse. 

AND THEN THERE MUST BE FEATHERS ADDED INTO HER MANE/TAIL WHICH I DO NOT YET HAVE.  But feather's stand for "power," or so one interwebz says. 

ALL MY INFORMATION COMES FROM THE INTERNET IN THE VERY FEW SITES I WAS ABLE TO FIND SUCH INFORMATION ON.  I HAVE NO IDEA IF THESE ARE THE CORRECT MEANINGS, PLEASE DON'T SHOOT ME IF SOMETHING IS MISREPRESENTED. I BLAME THE INTERWEBZ FOR ALL FAULTY INFORMATION
